Chapter 5: Kick them out!

Hey guys! Ready for another chapter full of baby crazyness and money struggles with the Gardens? lol.

Last time, we slowly worked our way around the infant twins. Thankfully they, and us, survived and made it to the toddler stage lol that was awful~ We also were saved by Aspen finally hitting teenager and jumping in to help his mom. Seriosuly, teens are literal lifesavers in this challenge lol and finally, we welcomed a new baby boy into the family, Oak, and watched Clover join her brother as a teen! It was quite eventful around the house!

This time, my hopes and dreams are all into getting some kids out of the house, so we’re gonna be working on Aspen and Clover’s scout badges a lot! We also may fit another pregnancy for Gaia in between there, but we’ll see! For now, let’s jump  in and see what the Gardens are getting up to~

Hyacinth is happily playing on the monkey bars I bought the family when we enter the household. This girl is still very cute ❤

As I said before, our main focus for today is to get Aspen (and hopefully Clover, but mainly Aspen) ready to leave the house. Which involves a lot of skilling and earining badges for him. My boy is gonna be busy this update!

Aspen: “Oh, joy. I can’t wait.”

I’m choosing to ignore your lack of enthusiasm lol time to work!

Hahahahahaha! You guys remember how Agnes got angry seeing Gaia flirting with Brant last chapter? Well, apparently you get a memory for that hahahahaha this is my new favorite thing ever lol!

I want all of my sims to have that memory!

The trouble twins are unhappy because I’m having them potty train again and again because it’s the only skill they are missing.

Well, Daisy is unhappy, Dandelion is just along for the ride as usual lol I love how different these two are.

Speaking of Gaia and Brant. I randomly decided to go ahead and have them try for baby right away. This maaay go terrible if Gaia ends up having twins again since Oak is still a newborn at this point… but naaaaah everything will be fine!

As a side note, I love Brant’s heart boxer shorts and bunny slippers lol a guy after my own heart!

Aspen has his high school A already, so I had him take a vacation day so we can keep working on his badges in peace. He’s still missing most of them lol but is halfway through getting them at least.

And meahwhile, Gaia finds out that she is indeed, pregnant with our next baby! Thanks for your contribution Brant! I know this baby is gonna be so cute ❤

Man, I had thought they had already fixed the shower bug that didn’t let my sims use them, but nope, still nothing! Funnily enough, I end up changing the shower for the cheapest version we have, the one that doesn’t even have walls/curtains, and that one they can use with no problem lol I’m not gonna complain, more money for us and all that lol.

This was basically the only time so far that Hyacinth showed her Evil trait lol She sat for breakfast next to the twins and started being mean to Daisy for no reason. (Dandy is, again, just happily along for the ride lol if there was an absent minded trait in this game, I would asume that he has it lol).

Now that Aspen is a teen, and specially since we currently have no infants around, Gaia goes back to working on her writting. She needs to finish one more book to complete the first tier of Betselling author, and I’m trying to get her more satisfaction points so I can buy her some of the helpful traits.

What? Aspen, call your dad! Tell him we want to welcome him and his fortune into the family!

Gaia: “Isn’t that against the rules?”

I won’t say anything if you don’t do either!

Gaia: “Also, isn’t he already married?”

…Partypopper.

Anyways, going to happier things: the trouble twins finally maxed their last skill! yay!

Aspen keeps proving that he’s the best and help us grow up the kids since Gaia was trying to finish her book.

Happy birthday kids! And yay for no toddlers for a couple days!

…Remember what I said about Gaia? Well, she didn’t complete her book, she broke the pc instead lol I had Aspen go fix it because I wanted to see if it helped with the Young scientist badge, but nope, it actually counts towards the Civic responsability one, incase you were curious lol.

Anyways, back to the birthdays~

Here we have our little troublemakers all grown up! I think they look very cute!

Daisy got the Recycle disciple trait (same as Clover’s actually lol) while Dandelion became Squeamish. Also, somehow both of them got the Mind and Body aspiration… that’s four out of five kids getting the same aspiration lol what the hell?

Good thing about that is that we don’t have to spend more money since we already have bikes lol.

Owwwwn ❤ Look at Daisy being autonomously cute with her mom~ Maybe her days to be a little terror are over? lol.

I think the teens of the house wanted some time to themselves lol they randomly went to the treehouse to talk lol I don’t blame them, having so many little siblings runnin around must be exhausting.

And there’s about to be one more! The newborn stage is whatever, but now they actually will have to help with little Oak lol.

OMG… Guys, I think I’m in love! Look at how cute he is!!! I love that big head of curls he has ❤

Apparently all the paintings he has been doing got Aspen a fame star lol good for him, good for him indeed.

Anyways. Now that we have an infant again, it’s time to go back to milestones~ lots of tummy time in the future for the little guy lol.

I used basicaly all of our hard earned money to build the family a second bathroom lol basic necesities, but it will get the job done. I also got the kids a punching bag so they don’t have to be jogging all the time for the Get fit badge lol eventually I wanna get them a basketball hoop, but we’re gonna need a bigger lot for that lol.

For now, at least it looks like Aspen enjoys the punching bag! This is actually the last badge he’s missing to be able to move out so…

There! Llamacorn scout! We have our first YA in the challenge!

Happy birthday Aspen! He definitely grew into his features, I really like him! His final trait is Outgoing, so I keep thinking of him as some college bro part of the baskeball team lol!

Aaand he was immediatly kicked out of the house with no money because we’re poor~ sorry Aspen!

Oak is probably one of the best behaved infants I’ve had so far. His only trully negative quirk is that he hates wake up time, but he still doesn’t get as angry as Daisy used to do because he’s calm lol.

Oh, I really think that Daisy is leaving behind her troublemaker days now lol look at her, becoming jokesters with her older sister! How cute ❤

Oh my god, I totally forgot that sims can die from a meteor now! lol! Thankfully, Dandelion was able to find shelter quickly and left for school little after, so we were safe lol.

As you can see, it was a very slow morning for the family with only Gaia and Oak in the house, so the next picture shows our two oldest girls coming home with their As! Now just time for badges/aspiration progress for both of them~

Remember how i said I was happy I didn’t had to spend money for the twins aspirations because we already had bikes? Well, I totally forgot to have Aspen leave his when he moved out lol so I had to buy another one so the twins could learn to ride since Hyacinth wasn’t done with hers still either lol! Dumb Salem.

Gaia is still working on her second book, and she finally made it to the leven where she can sell her books to publisher! That should helps us out with the money problem lol a little!

Aaaaand then we had a fire… AGAIN!

Seriously, is it just me or are fires more common since the growing together update? This is the third one just with this family lol! At least I think Gaia is becoming quite the pro on putting them out… but seriously, wth game?

I ended up swaping the chemistry set for a chess table lol two people can skill on it at once and you can’t set it on fire! So we’re keeping this until one of the kids rolls whiz kid and we need the set again. I wanna be safe.

Also, funfact: Firefighters coming to the house count for the First visitors milestone for infants lol. They weren’t actually in the house tho, I only got a notification that “the fire had been already put out” and then this popped up lol. You know, sims being drunk as usual.

And then this handsome man randomly came knocking out door lol. I love it when this happens in these kinds of challenges.

This is Stephon Cliffton, and I’m guessing he’s interested on being our next donnor~?

Gaia: “Do you wanna feel my baby? We could have one of these together later if you want to!”

Stephon: “Oh, can I? That sounds amazing!”

They got to know eachother a little bit before he went home, but no worries, Gaia is already able to send love emails from the pc, so we’ll have him locked down in no time!

Hyacinth stayed up late riding her bike until she finally mastered! congrats Hyacinth!

And then I sent her to play some chess to earn the last Mental points she was missing to be able to grow up!

Also Gaia finally manages to finish her second book soon after this picture and completes the first milestone to the Bestselling author aspiration! We’re starting to get on track to better stuff~

Hyacinth got a loose tooth and I had her pull it out lol it looked painful, but honestly, I feel like it’s the best option. They get uncomfortable moodlets no matter what you do, and pulling it out makes it so the moodlet disapears sooner lol at least, that’s my logic.

Damn! This was literally her second published book! She must be really good lol.

I’ll go ahead and say it: I totally forget to go to the ceremony as usual lol but it’s nice to know she was nominated.

Now that Hyacinth was done with the bike, Daisy and Dandelion can practice together ❤ there’s something special about twins having the same aspiration honestly.

Ah! Hyacinth showing her evil trait again lol. At least it makes it for a new family dynamic for us I guess?

Clover needs to earn the Get fit badge, but she’s lazy lol so as you can guess, she’s not having a good time at all with it.

So I decided to buy the family a speaker so she can dance instead of actually working out lol It ends up working great for her actually, and the speaker is one of the favorite objects around the house in no time lol.

Hyacinth completed her aspiration! Time for another birthday in the house!

Aaaand since I got distracted and totally mised the birthday shot… here’s a “growing up screen” shot lol. Hyacinth is now an Evil cat lover… I’m kinda wishing she rolled a spellcaster aspiration because that combo is such a wicked witch one lol but alas, she didn’t want to go with the whole stereotype I guess.

And here we have her after her makeover! She got a lot of facial features from Marcus for sure, and she’s very pretty! I randomly gave her a butterfly tattoo because I feel like I don’t give tattoos to my sims enough lol I’m gonna have 100, so better get a little creative with the makeovers! lol.

I also had her keep the puffy buns for her athletic wear because they’re so cute!

She gets to work straight away in her badges, ad quickly decides that Fitness it’s her thing~

Since we had a little bit of extra money, I expanded the living room a little to get a play tent for the toddlers. I also bought the family a better tv since the kids come home everyday with their fun tanked lol and hung the birth certificates around the wall. That’s gonna run out of space very quickly lol.

Oh! Time to meet our next baby!

Brant did a totally normal pre-parental panic. Add something extra to it Brant! Last father danced! lol.

There was no receptionist today for some reason lol so we just had to hang around the place until Gaia got tired of waiting and checked herself in lol.

Our ghost doctor delivers the new babt with no problem, and it’s another boy lol! We named him Fern. Welcome little Fern!

Oh… oh honey no… this union can’t result in anything good lol!

Gotta remember to go meet their kids lol I’m so curious.

Hey, Daisy already learnt to ride her bike! congrats Daisy! She’s getting ahead of Dandelion this time!

It was saturday so I decided to take the family out to the park so Clover and Hyacinth can try fishing for the Outdoor adventurer badge.

there we go~ girls fishing, Daisy playing chess to complete her aspiration, and Dandelion is out of the picture because he was sent to practice with the bike.

And he learnt to ride it almost immediatly lol great progress for the day!

So now the twins can work together on their Mental skill. I think they didn’t want to be apart.

And meanwhile, Gaia tries to meet some more men to get a backlog of donnors in line lol. Contrary to what it looks like here, she actually managed to introduce herself to Naoki! That’s a first for me, I usually do so bad with celebrities lol.

She also met this complete prize of a man lol look at those traits! That’s a winning combination if I’ve ever seen one lol!

I’m totally gonna have a kid with him btw. He’s handsome.

Back home, Aspen decided to come visit already ❤ I had Hyacinth give him a key so he can keep coming as much as he wants.

Completed aspiration for Daisy! yay!

Saddly, since the weekend got in the way she still doesn’t have her A, so she has to wait to age up. I did go ahead and sign her to the scouts tho, that way she can get a head start on that to compensate the delay.

For now, time to get one more infant into the household! Happy birthday Fern!

Here we have him! So far he looks a lot like Brant, got his eyes, haircolor and skin tone too, let’s see how he continues to grow!

Gaia wanted to listen to some music for a want, and this is how she decided to do it lol totally ignoring the comfy rocking chair and also the bed that she could’ve sat on instead.

Oak keeps being one of my best infants to date lol he has had no problem getting through milestones even being Calm, and even unlocked the Sleep through the night already.

I know I’m like a broken record but… how can he be so freaking cute?! I think I have a favorite… Don’t tell the kids!

Gaia has developed all of that relationship with Stephon by writting him love emails lol seriously this is one of the best 100 babies challenge cheats that I know! You only need 3-4 emails per sim and can easily send them every 6 hours, so it’s super easy to get a line of donnors ready just in the time it takes you to go through a pregnancy.

Dandy and Daisy got their grades up! Saddly, just to a B lol thankfully they have the whole week in front of them, so we’re growing them up for sure this week.

Clover was having trouble with the Good deeds badge as always, but I read that helping with homework works for that, so she’s now helping Daisy with hers and her extra credit! We couldn’t do this before because the twins had already done their homework by the time I found out this lol!

Oak got his first blow up, so he gets a cute little bath ❤

Dandy completed his aspiration too! Now he can join his sisters earning badges!

Speaking or earning badges, guess who just finished helping her sis with her homework and finally got her last one!

With that, Clover can finally blow her candles into adulthood! Happy birthday Clover!

She gets Loner for her final trait, making her more or less the outcast little sister to Aspen’s college champ lol I love it.

And we´re finishing for today with Clover leaving the house! This was quite a productive day for us! Also I need to paint those ugly drywalls lol I need not to be broke anymore!

Next time we should be having the twins turning into teens and Hyacinth leaving the house if the weekend doesn’t get in the way again! Also, hopefully Oak and Fern getting to childhood and of course, more babies!
